Spezialistin Umsetzung der Personalstrategie
Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH
Luise has been working as a social scientist in international development cooperation for 16 years. She has also spent extended periods of time in Central Asia, Northern Africa and the Middle East, the Balkans, Central and Southern Africa. In addition to her work in international water management and due to her personal biography, she intensively started engaging in expatriate research already during her studies.
Luise now supports the team of the HR Strategy at GIZ and here primarily the sub-project 'Increasing the appeal of foreign assignments'. The current focus is on the development and expansion of information and support services for accompanying partners, especially with regard to employment opportunities. This is seen as the central lever for reducing obstacles to mobility. In the breakout session, she would like to outline common challenges and opportunities as well as effective measures as identified by GIZ and welcome participants to a lively exchange on the matter.
